With a name such as 'Picasso' in its title, it goes without saying that this group of hotels has a certain 'je ne sais quoi' when it comes to creativity. A love for extraordinary shapes and captivating design! It's just one of the reasons it has such an extensive and loyal client base - visitors love their flair for the individual and the creative.
It's exactly for this reason that the architect, Alejandro Castaneda, turned to FunderMax in order find a solution.
The concept - Alejandro Castaneda
It was always going to be a challenge. To come up with a design concept which would do justice to the hotel's company name and their brand status ! The overall structural design alone, not to mention the facade solution. After all, artistic depictions such as those of Picasso are anything but regular and uniform.
'Each piece is different and all of them at the same time create a volume with a visual impact that moves from a normal scale to a macro scale. We could only accomplish our goal by using FunderMax panels, thanks to their very lightweight structure, because as a renovation project, lightweight panels were a must.'
