Authentic Living

FunderMax’s focus for this year’s SICAM 2019, is all about ‘Authentic Living!’ We’ll be presenting a range of surfaces which more than meet this trend: Grafica, Mito and Immago. And in particular NICE. Which is just as its name suggests.

 

Authentic and cosy surfaces

The top interior ‘living’ trends for the coming years are defined by the the search for natural, warm and elegant materials. Terms such as "authentic", "cosy" and "warm" depict the home of the future. This is why furniture manufacturers and designers are looking for the perfect combination of these concepts and also why the existing trend for "Super Matt” surfaces are ever popular. FunderMax interior surfaces subtly and elegantly support this development in the interior sector.

GRAFICA is a truly tactile, matt surface that complements many decors. IMMAGO conveys a unique feeling of warmth and depth through its contrasting, matt and shiny finish. Based on the "Natural" trend, MITO gives wood decors a distinctive feel with its compelling structure. And NICE is particularly ‘authentic’ with its look that appears to be ravaged by time. After intensive research and development, we’ve succeeded in bringing the most trendy surfaces to the market thanks to our careful collaboration with like-minded partners.  We were looking for finishes within wood design which could become the protagonists in the living room. With a portfolio of surfaces that capture and demand attention at first glance: A matt surface that can be seen from afar and that appears optically and haptically natural.

 

 

The naturalness of Wood

NICE was created with the idea to improve and advance wood decors. Due to the pronounced 3D effect and the different matt levels, even in plain black decor the surface offers all the naturalness of wood. To fulfil the desire for understated elegance, other decors can be complemented perfectly by a total black decor.

At this year's "Salone del Mobile di Milano" Nice was presented by our customers as a novelty in their collections. In particular, walnut and oak decors - from light grey to dark brown - were in focus  -  highlighting to clients how the very latest on-trend furniture pieces could be achieved.

Whether it’s the living room, bedroom or kitchen, the "Authentic Living" trend is everywhere. NICE will help us realise this vision for the future of the furniture industry in the coming years, as it is clearly the epitome of "Authentic Living”.
